Our History
यस पशुपति माध्यमिक विद्यालय धादिङ जिल्ला नीलकण्ठ नगरपालिका वडा नं. १२ दामगाडेमा अवस्थित रहेको छ । नीलकण्ठ नगरपालिका वडा नं. १२ स्थित हिन्दुहरुको आराध्यदेव पशुपतिनाथ मन्दिरको नामबाट यस विद्यालयको नामाकरण गरिएको हो। यस विद्यालयको स्थापना वि.सं. २०४५ सालमा भएको हो । तत्कालिन अवस्थामा सम्पूर्ण गाउँलेहरुले आफ्ना छोराछोरीहरुलाई आफ्नै गाउँकै विद्यालयमा पढाउने मुख्य चाहाना तथा आवश्यकताका कारण स्थानीय समाजसेवी तथा बुद्धिजीवीहरु हर्कबहादुर भण्डारी, छविलाल श्रेष्ठ, ताराबहादुर राउत, भोजनारायण श्रेष्ठ, रामचन्द्र कुमाल, तेजबहादुर अधिकारी, भक्तबहादुर राउत, जीतबहादुर दमाई, चन्द्रकान्त दुवाडी, यदुकुमार दुवाडी, स्व. रामचन्द्र भण्डारी, होमनारायण श्रेष्ठ, स्व. भिमसेनकुमार श्रेष्ठ, गोकर्णप्रसाद सापकोटा लगायत अन्य महानुभावहरुको नेतृत्वमा यस पशुपति माध्यमिक विद्यालय स्थापना भएको हो । सानासाना बालबालिकाहरु पठनपाठनका लागि टाढा जान गाह्रो भएको अवस्थामा २०४४ सालमा अनौपचारिक रुपमा चौतारामा आरम्भ भएको पठनपाठनलाई औपचारिक रुप दिँदै वि.सं. २०४५ माघ २७ गते विद्यालयको स्थापना भएको अभिलेखमा देखिन्छ । सुरुवातमा प्राथमिक तहको अनुमति पाइ पठन पाठन आरम्भ गरेको यस पशुपति माध्यमिक विद्यालयमा वि.सं. २०५२ सालमा निम्न माध्यमिक तह सुरु भएको हो भने वि.सं. २०६४ सालमा माध्यमिक कक्षा ९–१० सुरु भएको हो । त्यसैगरी वि.सं. २०७६ बाट कक्षा ११–१२ सञ्चालनको अनुमति प्राप्त गरी हाल बालकक्षा देखि कक्षा १२ सम्म पठनपाठन भइरहेको छ ।
